Library Rules

MISSION

Library is a Public Institution entrusted with the task of collection, preservation and dissemination of knowledge & works as an agency for life long self-education of its clientele by converting non-readers into readers.

MEMBERS

(A) All Students of this college (B) All Teaching & Non-Teaching Staff of college (C) Alumni (registered) are eligible to become the member of the Library.

THE WORKING HOURS

(A) The Library shall remain open on all working Days from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
(B) Schedule: 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM (For Students).
(C) Any change in the timing shall be notified in Notice Board.
(D) Schedule of ISSUE/RETURN of Library Books:
1. Monday & Friday: All Arts Students.
2. Tuesday & Saturday: All Science Students.
3. Wednesday: All Commerce Students.

DURATION OF LENDING BOOKS

(A) The valid Library Card Holders must follow the duration of lending to avoid fines.
1. Students: 14 days
2. Staff: 21 days

DELAY FINES

(A) A Borrower failing to return a Book/Periodical by the due date shall be liable to a fine of Rs. 2/- per day maximum to the cost of the Book/Periodical.
(B) Loss of Library Card, Fine: Rs. 100/- for new card.
(C) Loss or serious damage of Book, Fine: Two times of cost of Book to pay.
Discipline
(A) No use of Mobile Phone Other than Academic Browsing. (B) No Baggage are allowed inside library.
(C) Own risk of personal belongings.
(D) No Gossiping inside Reading Room.
