BRIEF HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT:

The subject Odia was incorporated as one of the fundamental essential subject in the college level and got affiliation to Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, with 32seats in +3 stages in the year 2013.
From the time of its inception the department moves on its path of success to achieve academic excellence. The department equipped with two experienced faculty members with Ph. D Degrees.

1. OBJECTIVES OF THE DEPARTMENT:

   1. To encourage research activities among the students.
   2. To enrich academic improvement of the students & teachers.
   3. To conduct seminar & workshop for clear understanding of different topics.
   4. To arrange study tour & picnic once a year to enhance student activities in different field.
   5. To develop leadership qualities among our students through participating in N.C.C, N.S.S, Red-Cross & Sports activities.
   6. To conduct welcome & farewell ceremonies for mutual co-operation among students & teachers.
   7. To provide well-furnished laboratory for use of students.
   8.To provide Smart class room learning experience.
