BRIEF HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT:

The subject Political Science was incorporated as one of the fundamental essential subject in the college level and got affiliation to Utkal university, Odisha, Bhubaneswar with 32 seats in +3stages in the year 1994videletter No- dt. .
From the academic session 2008-09, the institution got affiliation to impart honors teaching in Political Science with 32seats. From the time of its inception the department moves on its path of success to achieve academic excellence. The department equipped with three senior experienced facultymembers to impart teaching in honors as well as pass subjects. Our teachers are dedicated, hardworking and committed for quality teachings and quality development of students.

1. OBJECTIVES OF THE DEPARTMENT:

   1. To encourage research activities among the students.
   2. To enrich academic improvement of the students & teachers.
   3. To conduct seminar & workshop for clear understanding of different topics.
   4. To arrange study tour& picnic once a year to enhance student activities in different field.
   5. To develop leadership qualities among our students through participating in N.S.S,Red-Cross & Sports activities.
   6. To conduct welcome & farewell ceremonies for mutual co-operation among students & teachers.
   7. To provide well furnished laboratory for use of students.
