BRIEF HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT:

The subject Physics was incorporated as one of the fundamental essential subject in the college level and got affiliation to Utkal University, Odisha, Bhubaneswar with 32 seats in +3 stages in the year 2016 vide letter No-5752/RDE, Dt. 11.05.2017. From the academic session 2016-17, the institution got affiliation to impart honours teaching in Physics with 32 seats. From the time of its inception the department moves on its path of success to achieve academic excellence. The department equipped with three faculty members and one demonstrator to impart teaching in honours as well as elective subjects. Our teachers are dedicated, hardworking and committed for quality teachings and quality development of students.

1. OBJECTIVES OF THE DEPARTMENT:

   2. To enhance logical thinking of students.
   3. To enrich content knowledge of the students.
   4. To develop power of observation.
   5. To enrich academic improvement of the students & teachers.
   6. To conduct seminar & workshop for clear understanding of different topics.
   7. To arrange study tour & picnic once a year to enhance student activities in different field.
   8. To develop leadership qualities among our students through participating in N.C.C, SCOUT AND GUIDE, Red-Cross & Sports activities.
   9. To conduct welcome & farewell ceremonies for mutual co-operation among students & teachers.
   10. To provide well furnished laboratory for use of students.
